Carrying out a ‘Bibob check’

If you have applied for a permit, licence, grant or subsidy, submitted a bid for a government contract or intend to buy real estate from or sell real estate to the province, we may carry out a check into the integrity of your business. This is called a ‘Bibob check’ (the name being derived from an abbreviation of the relevant Dutch law), and the aim of it is to ensure that we do not inadvertently facilitate criminal activities.
